If you need to order stock regularly and tend to purchase from the same creditors month to month it can take some time to process all your purchase orders.
 

That is unless you are using the Bulk Purchase order process. This calculates from your current usage and existing stocks what products you need to order in total to last you a given number of days. You can then amend the figures as necessary and process the Purchase orders.
