Bank feeds are now available in Accredo

Automated bank feeds are now available in Accredo. Your bank transactions flow in automatically overnight, so when you sit down to reconcile your statement is already there and ready to match. You choose how often each account updates, and accounts set to Match After Import get suggested matches that are only applied once you accept them. Every line carries the bank’s own transaction identifier, so overlapping imports never create duplicates.

Feeds come through Akahu, New Zealand’s open banking provider. Each bank account must be authorised through a signatory’s mobile banking app, which is a one-off step. Until the banks extend open banking to dedicated business banking (expected from June 2027, though Kiwibank already supports it), business accounts are connected through a signatory’s personal banking app. Accredo never sees or stores your banking credentials. Bank feeds work alongside file importing, so you can add them to the accounts that suit you and carry on as you are with the rest.

Bank feeds need Accredo Version 9 with the Cash Book and Web Service modules, plus a Bank Feed subscription of $10 per month per Akahu connection.
